Job Description:

 

Job Objectives:
Administer and optimize all databases and ensure the completion of day to day operational activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for day to day operational management of Databases and application servers.
Administration of business critical and non-critical databases.
Facilitating and executing change requests and other service requests on systems.
Implement standards and practices in respect of creating and accessing physical databases.
Ensure proper backup of all systems according to the policy.
Maintain availability of services as per KPI.
Management and optimization of databases.
Execute management and operations procedure for all databases.
Work in shifts to cover nights and official holidays.
Key Performance Indicators:
Service Availability 99%
Quality of service should be optimal to ensure users KPI
Skill set Required:
Knowledge of database design techniques and tools
Database administration and optimization skills.
Exposure to various database monitoring and management tools.
